The Audio Production class here at YV-TECH doesn't always stay in the classroom. Our class is about hands on learning and getting exposed to as many different environments and elements of audio production there are. We have taken some trips to local radio stations like Clear Channel and New NorthWest Broadcasters, where we learned the different programs that they run off and go to see that the things they do are just the same as we do.We have also gone to the Capital Theater. There we were able to tour the facilities and see the way they run their shows, and what they have to go through to set everything up. But don't think that we just stay here in the town...oh no! We travel! We also had the priviliage of going to Seattle and being able to tour the main radio stations/studios there. We went to Clear Channel,EMP, Bad Animals, and we were also given a wonderful and exciting privilage of seeing Studio X.

So no we're not just a class that sits around in the classroom all day and just learns from a book. We also get to go out and see the way the professionals do it, and also get to have a lot of fun at the same time. It's just a great experience that not everyone gets the chance to do in life, being that one step closer to fulfilling your goals.
